Abstract

Sexual medicine is one of the most recently evolved branches of medicine. It aims to improve sexual health through prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of conditions or diseases involving: (i) sexual function and dysfunction; (ii) sexual and/or partnership experience and behavior; (iii) gender identity, orientation, and attractions; (iv) sexual attitudes, feelings, and beliefs; and (v) social expectations and gender.
